Vincent Eastman (Richard Gere) is a successful architect and seems to have everything in life, what you could wish for. For 16 years he has been with his wife Sally (Sharon Stone) married and together they have a 13-year-old daughter. But Vincent is not happy with his life and so he rushes headlong into an exciting affair with the journalist Olivia As Sally learns what her husband is doing behind her back, there is a big fight between the two, finally, erupt through the long-held feelings.
